My Mum Is On Strike!

International Women’s Day started out with a strike and on 8th March women across the world will strike against the unfair conditions under which we’re all forced to live. Unpaid work like childcare and cleaning prop up the world economy.

As carers of children, we resent our love being exploited and we are going to celebrate the strike by playing with our loved ones and teaching them about International Women’s Day. We will have experienced male childminders armed with play dough, so that this International Women’s Day, you might just get five minutes to enjoy a hot cup of tea and a chance to remember the bits that we love about kids and the chance to imagine living, loving and playing with them collectively.

Food, toys, activities and games provided for kids. All genders welcome.
